How the layers fit together

There are three layers. Mission Assistance sits closest to the operator and turns a stated goal into a plan someone can review. Visual Perception and Navigation gives the aircraft a working picture of where it is and what is around it. Local Intelligence is the runtime underneath both, keeping inference on the aircraft instead of on a server.

Who we are

Kuiper Lab develops AI software that helps operators plan and carry out drone missions with less manual effort. We combine intelligent mission planning and natural language operator interfaces with onboard autonomy, and work with drone manufacturers and operators to integrate our software with their platforms. Based in Boston, MA and Buffalo, NY, we are working to turn technical demonstrations and partner conversations into paid pilots and repeatable deployments.
